To create a new named option set from Project Options
- Choose ProjectOptions.
- Build configuration is the first field on the page. Select from the drop-down menu the configuration on which you want to base the named option set.
- Adjust the options on any one or more of the pages associated with the build configuration.
- Click the Save As... button.
- In the Save Options Set dialog box, enter a name for the named option set you are creating.
- Click OK to save the option set to a file.
To create a new named option set from Project Manager
- In the Project Manager, right-click the configuration from which you want to save an option set.
- On the context menu, click Save As....
- In the Save Options Set dialog box, enter a name for the named option set you are creating.
- Click OK to save the option set to a file.
To load a named option set from Project Options
- Choose ProjectOptions.
- Select the name of the Build configuration from the pull down menu to which you want to apply the option set.
- Click the Load... button to display the Apply Option Set dialog.
- Navigate to the desired file for the named option set.
- Choose how you load the values from the named option set: Overwrite, Replace, or Preserve.
- Click OK to apply the option set and close the dialog. Click Cancel to not apply it and close the dialog.
To load a named option set from Project Manager
- In the Project Manager, right-click the configuration to which you want to apply an option set.
- On the context menu, click Apply Option Set... to display the Apply Option Set dialog.
- Navigate to the desired file for the named option set.
- Choose how you load the values from the named option set: Overwrite, Replace, or Preserve.
- Click OK to apply the option set and close the dialog. Click Cancel to not apply it and close the dialog.
