Reads a floating-point number from the reader object's stream and returns its value.

Description

ReadFloat is a helper method used by other reader methods to read a tagged floating-point data value at the current reader Position. ReadFloat first checks the value type (TValueType) by calling the ReadValue method. If the item is a vaExtended ReadFloat calls Read and returns the float value. Otherwise it calls ReadInteger.
