Changing Type of a Link

Use the following techniques to change the type of a link:

  1. Set the link type by using the Object Inspector
  2. Set the link type by using the context menu

To set the link type by using the name="menupath"Object Inspector:

  1. Choose ViewObject Inspector if the Object Inspector is not open.
  2. Select a link on the diagram. The properties for the link appear in the Object Inspector.
  3. In the Object Inspector, select the Type field.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow and select the appropriate property from the list. Your available choices are association, aggregation, or composition.

To set the link type by using the context menu:

  1. Right-click a link on the diagram.
  2. Choose Link Type on the context menu.
