Activating UML Modeling Support for Projects

This topic describes how to activate UML modeling support for a project individually.

Tip: You can also force UML modeling to activate support automatically for all new or currently open projects by adjusting General options.

To activate UML modeling support follow these steps:

  1. Switch to a desired project or project group.
  2. Choose ProjectModeling Support on the main menu. Result: The Model Support dialog box opens showing the list of projects within the current project group.
  3. In the Model Support dialog box, check the flags for those projects where you need modeling.
  4. Click OK.
Result: The Model View displays the models for each of the selected projects. In the Project Manager , ModelSupport_%PROJECTNAME% folder is added to each of the selected projects.

To deactivate UML modeling support, follow the above procedure, but uncheck the flags for those projects of a project group that do not need modeling.
