AnsiStrings.SameText Function

Compare two strings for equality without case-sensitivity.

Pascal
function SameText(const S1: AnsiString; const S2: AnsiString): Boolean; overload;
function SameText(const S1: AnsiString; const S2: AnsiString; LocaleOptions: TLocaleOptions): Boolean; overload;
C++
Boolean SameText(const AnsiString S1, const AnsiString S2);
Boolean SameText(const AnsiString S1, const AnsiString S2, TLocaleOptions LocaleOptions);

SameText compares S1 to S2, without case-sensitivity. Returns true if S1 and S2 are equal, that is, if CompareText would return 0. SameText has the same 8-bit limitations as CompareText

Use SameStr to compare strings with case-sensitivity.
