you for using IDERA ER/Studio Software Architect. ER/Studio Software Architect
is a design-driven environment for modeling software applications. It features
support for UML 2.0, OCL, patterns, quality assurance audits and metrics,
import/export support, and automated documentation generation. The goal is to
model applications using UML.
ER/Studio Software Architect is an Eclipse-based RCP application
whose primary components are a Model Navigator, Diagram Editor, Palette, and
Properties View.

This release begins a rollout of rebranding this product from
Embarcadero to IDERA. Note that these changes include a new license agreement,
installation and data directories, icons, file names, registry settings, and
more. For more information about IDERA and IDERA products, see www.idera.com.

The Profile is not loaded if ER/Studio Software Architect is
installed in the default location on Microsoft® Vista™. There are two different
workarounds available: (1) change the default install directory (Program Files
is not supported); or (2) turn off the User Account Control (UAC). To turn the
User Account Control on or off:
1.
Open User Accounts by
clicking Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety (or by
clicking User Accounts if you are connected to a network domain), and then
clicking User Accounts.
2.
Click Turn User Account
Control on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or
confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.
Select the option
"Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" to
turn on UAC. Or clear this option to turn off UAC, and then click OK.
All IDERA products include a 14-day trial period. To continue
using the product without interruption, we recommend that you license it as
soon as possible. For information on licensing your product, refer to the Quick

If you have a valid maintenance contract with IDERA, the Technical
Support team is available to assist you with any problems you have with our
applications. Our maintenance contract also entitles registered users of IDERA
products to download free software upgrades during the active contract period.
Evaluators receive free technical support for the term of their evaluation (14
days).
