This section describes UML modeling options. 
Modeling enables you to perform many diagram actions without using the mouse. You can navigate between diagrams, create diagram elements, and more, using the keyboard only. 
This section describes GUI components of the RAD Studio interface you use for UML modeling. 
The following refactoring operations are available:
Refactoring operations  
There are two basic project types:
  • Design project. Project file extension: .bdsproj. These projects are language-neutral and comply with one of the two versions of UML specifications: UML 1.5 or UML 2.0.
  • Implementation project. Project file extension: .bdsproj. You can create models for language-specific projects. Modeling that complies with UML 1.5 specification is supported for Delphi and C++ projects. Modeling features are automatically activated for these projects.
The set of available project types depends on your license.
