Thank you for using IDERA DB Optimizer, an enterprise SQL development and optimization tool that gives database developers and administrators the perfect environment for building the best performing SQL code. This application easily identifies inefficient SQL code and boosts developer productivity by ensuring SQL is right before it becomes a problem in mission-critical applications. DB Optimizer also provides a rich SQL IDE with code completion, real-time error checking, code formatting and sophisticated object validation tools. Lastly, DB Optimizer provides advanced project and data source management tools.

What's New in DB Optimizer

Idera rebranding

This release begins a rollout of rebranding this product from Embarcadero to IDERA. Note that these changes include a new license agreement, installation and data directories, icons, file names, registry settings, and more. For more information about IDERA and IDERA products, see www.idera.com.

Product Licensing Changes

Simplified licensing now offers a single DB Optimizer license for all environments.

64-bit installations

DB Optimizer now supports installations on 64-bit systems.

Java and Eclipse

DB Optimizer now uses Java 1.8 update 91 and the Eclipse 4.5.2 platforms.
